Using Baybayin fonts responsibly

A font changes the appearance of Unicode text; it does not translate language. Convert and verify your phrase first, then test it in several typefaces. Always read the license distributed with a font. Open licenses may allow personal and commercial work, while freeware or demo releases may restrict logos, merchandise, embedding, or modification.

Install and test

Download the font from its original publisher, open the included license, and install the OTF or TTF file through your operating system’s font manager. Test vowel marks, virama placement, punctuation, and export behavior before sending a file to print. For collaboration, outline text only in a copy of the design so the original remains editable and accessible.
